Last week, Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-36) was appointed to the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, which conducts oversight of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and advances legislation on matters pertaining to veterans, including medical care, veterans’ hospitals, treatment compensation, education, and more.

Our communities are facing challenges accessing the COVID-19 vaccine. As a physician and your representative in Congress, I am working day in and day out to secure the vaccines and resources we need to protect our health and end this pandemic as quickly and safely as possible.

Lexi Lopez started a beadworking business with her mother Kathy and grandmother Sherry in 2015. Her younger sister, Jazmyne, beads as well. Lopezbeading was launched when Lopez, now 21, was in boarding school at Sherman Indian High School in Riverside.

On February 17, 2021, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team served a search warrant in the 17300 block of Baker Street, in the city of Lake Elsinore, reference a narcotics investigation.

Palm Desert Station Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) conducted further investigation regarding several vehicle burglaries that occurred between the dates of January 20, 2021 to February 2, 2021, in the communities of Indian Wells and Rancho Mirage. BSU identified Scott Farris, 49 years of Indio, as a suspect for his involvement in the multiple burglaries.
