The Department of Veterans Affairs published its first of 50 draft national standards of practice in the Federal Register June 30, for Blind Rehabilitation Specialists and Visual Impairment Services Teams Coordinators.
Riverside Sheriff’s Department reminds drivers to plan ahead and celebrate the holiday safely and responsibly. This weekend and through Monday, July 4, the Riverside Sheriff’s Department will have additional deputies on patrol looking for drivers suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is aware of the release of personal information from the California Department of Justice (DOJ) involving all individuals that applied for a permit to carry a concealed weapon in our county between 2011-2021. Although we did not have any control over the information released, this data leak is concerning to us and we take it very seriously.
On June 29, 2022, at 12:29 a.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a reported burglary in progress at a residence in the 24300 block of Eucalyptus Avenue. As deputies were responding, the victim, identified as Joe Howard Teague, a 93-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, told dispatch he had several subjects at gunpoint.
