Attempted Carjacking with a Firearm
On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 3:50 a.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a carjacking involving a firearm in the 12600 block of Frederick Street in the City of Moreno Valley.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Stabbing
On April 24, 2023, at 10:20 P.M., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a stabbing in the 23000 block of Hemlock Avenue, in the City of Moreno Valley.
Homicide – Update
On April 23, 2023, investigators from the Central Homicide Unit identified the suspect in the murder of Giovanni Ibarra. David Diaz, a 39-year old male from Los Angeles, was located and arrested in the Otay Mesa area of the city of San Diego. Diaz was later booked for murder at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
