On Sunday, September 20, 2020, at 10:46 PM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to the 22000 Block of Adrienne Ave in Moreno Valley reference a report of gunshots in the area.
Shortly after arriving in the area, deputies received information of a male arriving at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel at the hospital attempted life saving measures; however, the male succumbed to his injuries. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The decedent was identified as Alfredo Salazar, 26 years old out of Menifee.
