Traffic Stop Results in Weapon Arrest

On June 23, 2021 at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Los Alamos Road / I-215 Freeway in the City of Murrieta. A subsequent search of the driver’s vehicle revealed a loaded 9mm handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition.

The driver Tyree Morrow, a 22-year old resident of Menifee was arrested and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center.
