Agricultural Theft

On August 26, 2020, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Thermal Station, Agricultural Liaison, and Southern Coachella Valley Community Services District Team, responded to the area of 86 Expressway and Lincoln Street, Thermal, regarding subjects stealing lemons from a ranch.  

The subjects were observed loading lemons into the trunks of two vehicles.  The estimated value of the lemons was over $1000.  Deputies located one of the vehicles and identified the suspects as Antonio Santiago (28 years) and Sergio Dominguez (31 years), both from Thermal.  Both suspects were booked into the Indio jail.
