On May 11, 2022, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County Code Enforcement, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife served a marijuana cultivation related search warrant in the unincorporated county area of Sage. While conducting the search, approximately 3800 marijuana plants and 1700 pounds of processed marijuana was eradicated from several indoor and outdoor structures. This location was previously permitted to produce but the county permit expired several months ago.
On May 10, 2022, about 12:06 a.m., deputies driving a marked black and white Sheriff’s patrol vehicle were traveling east on Alessandro Blvd., in the city of Moreno Valley. As they approached the intersection of Lasselle Ave., they observed a white Nissan coupe doing burn-outs (commonly referred to as donuts) in the intersection.
On April 18, 2022, deputies responded to a business located in the 1100 Block of 6 Street, Norco, regarding a grand theft investigation. During the investigation, it was determined the suspect entered the property of the closed business, and stole numerous items used in agricultural and animal husbandry.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that Tennessee and South Carolina can begin offering Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) coverage for 12 months postpartum to an estimated 22,000 and 16,000 pregnant and postpartum individuals, respectively, through a new state plan opportunity made available by the American Rescue Plan.
