On Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 4:57 PM, deputies from the Palm Desert Station responded to a call of a deceased male in the 44000 block of San Luis Rey Avenue in Palm Desert. Upon arrival, they found a deceased male with traumatic injuries. No suspects were located at the scene.

On June 13, 2021, at 8:51 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff Department, Moreno Valley Station, responded to a report a major injury traffic collision on Graham Street and Eucalyptus Avenue. Deputies and Fire/Rescue personnel arrived within minutes and started rescue efforts on driver/sole occupant. The driver was transported by paramedics to a local hospital with major injuries.
