On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 5:23 P.M., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station were dispatched to the report of a past battery that occurred at a high school located in the 4000 block of Camino Real, Jurupa Valley. All involved parties and potential witnesses left the location prior to the deputies’ arrival. The investigation revealed that earlier in the afternoon, several suspects arrived at the high school, at which time they confronted and battered a 14-year-old student in the parking lot. The victim was later taken to a local hospital by family members, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
