Animals! Pure and simple. That is the only word that I can use to describe the students that I came across at a local, not so prestigious middle school here in Hemet. Any other words that I am thinking of using, cannot be printed in this space.

The idea of reparations for African Americans due to slavery began during the Civil War when General William Tecumseh Sherman, on January 16, 1865, issued Special Field Order No. 15 that called for allocating up to 40 acres and lending mules to newly emancipated slaves.
My new hero
Definition of the word “hero” usually involves courage and sacrifice above and beyond the normal threshold. Classic meaning of hero is a “warrior that lives and dies in the pursuit of honor,” and fights with “brilliancy, efficiency, and ingenuity.”
VETERANS CORNER
The American Legion Post 53 has been in recruitment mode for our Boys State. Robert Farris, our Second Vice Commander, has been in contact with our local schools, recruiting both boys and girls for Boys State.
