Assault with a Deadly Weapon
On April 6, 2023, at 9:02 am, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 25300 block of El Greco Drive. Upon arrival, deputies located a 49-year-old Hispanic female victim who was not injured.
Homicide
The decedent has been identified as 57-year-old Sandra Mayor, a resident of Palm Desert. Sandra Mayor’s husband, 53-year-old Thomas Daniels, is a person of interest, and his whereabouts are unknown.
Fatal Traffic Collision
On April 5, 2023, at 7:41 PM, deputies responded to the intersection of San Jacinto Avenue and Esplanade Avenue, in the city of San Jacinto, regarding a major-injury traffic collision, involving a pedestrian.
Illegal Cultivation of Marijuana
On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 2:20 p.m., deputies responded to the 1800 Block of Jasmine Court, in San Jacinto regarding a disturbance. When the deputies arrived they discovered 254 marijuana plants in a garage at the residence.
Mother Assaulted by Adult Family Member
On Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 8:51 a.m., deputies from San Jacinto received a report of a woman stabbed inside her residence located in the 500 block of Peregrine Lane.
