Carjacking Suspects Arrested
On Thursday, July 14, 2022, Perris Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a carjacking at Post Road and Canal Street, in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Good Hope.
Homicide
On July 15, 2022, at 6:55 a.m., deputies assigned to the Palm Desert Sheriff Station were dispatched to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon call in a hotel parking lot, in the 72300 block of Highway 111, Palm Desert. Upon arrival, deputies located adult subjects with significant sharp force trauma to their bodies.
Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested
On Friday, July 15, 2022, at 7:40 PM, Perris Sheriff’s station deputies responded to a robbery at a local fast food restaurant located in the 23000 Block of Cajalco Road, in the unincorporated Perris area of Riverside County.
Attempted Kidnapping
On Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 10:30 AM, Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies assigned to the Riverside University Health System - Medical Center were notified by hospital staff of an individual impersonating a nurse on campus.
Suspicious Death Investigation
On July 14, 2022, at 2:02 a.m., deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station responded to assist Cal Fire with a report of a burned body inside a vehicle on the 83000 block of Avenue 60, in Thermal.
