On July 17, 2022, in the unincorporated areas of El Cerrito and Wildomar, two incidents occurred where suspects attempted to steal catalytic converters from vehicles and ended up shooting at witnesses.
Convicted Felon Arrested for Firearm Possession after Crashing Stolen Vehicle
On Monday, July 18, 2022, at 10:37 P.M., San Jacinto Deputies located a stolen vehicle entering a mobile home park in the 1600 block of San Jacinto Avenue, San Jacinto. The vehicle was stolen out of the city of Riverside during a residential burglary where multiple items of high-dollar jewelry and firearms were stolen.
