Buffalo supermarket shooting: What do we know so far?

On Saturday afternoon, a white gunman in military gear attacked shoppers and workers at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, killing 10 Black people. Another Black person and two white people were wounded. Officials are investigating the shooting as a hate crime.

Suspect Arrested in Sexual Assault Investigation

In May of 2022, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau began an investigation into allegations of sexual assault against a juvenile. During the course of the investigation the suspect was identified as Thomas Hernandez, a 27-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore.
