2 Separate Freeway Shootings In Riverside County: CHP Seeks Leads
The California Highway Patrol Tuesday asked anyone who may have information on two separate Fourth of July shootings in Riverside and Moreno Valley to come forward, as the search for suspects continues.
Felon in Possession of a Firearm
On Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, at 8:09 P.M., members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 Perris / Lake Elsinore conducted a vehicle check in the 300 block of F Street, in the city of Perris. Deputies contacted Christian Serrano, a 42-year-old resident of Perris. Serrano advised he was on probation for violating a restraining order. A subsequent search of Serrano’s vehicle revealed a firearm magazine containing (6) live 9mm cartridges, (10) live 16-gauge shotgun shells, numerous shaved keys, and (2) Balisong knives.

Small plane crashes into Northern California home
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A small plane crashed into a home in a gated community in the hills of Monterey County on Tuesday, starting a fire in the house that spread to nearby bushes. It is not yet known if people were inside the residence or how many people were on the plane, officials said.
