Illegal Fireworks/Possession of a loaded handgun
On July 3, 2021, at 11:13 pm, the Southern Coachella Valley Community Services District Team, were enforcing illegal firework enforcement on the 87000 block of Center St. of Thermal. Five large aerial fireworks, a loaded handgun and illegal narcotics were confiscated. Vincent Adrian Villegas, 27yrs of Thermal was arrested for possession of a loaded handgun and an active felony warrant.

Solicitation of Prostitution and Identity Theft Arrest
On Friday, June 25, 2021, members of the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team conducted follow-up investigation regarding a female arrested on June 22, 2021 during a Demand Reduction Sex Trafficking Operation in the city of La Quinta. The female identified herself with an identification card that was later confirmed to be stolen; the female’s identity was determined to be Wendy Ruiz Lopez, 37 of Desert Hot Springs.
Illegal Firearm Arrest
On June 29, 2021 at 10:10 PM, Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team/Gang Unit were conducting proactive patrol in the 20000 block of Juanita Avenue in Moreno Valley and attempted to contact two individuals sitting in a vehicle.
