Major Injury Traffic Collision/Single Vehicle
On June 13, 2021, at 8:51 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff Department, Moreno Valley Station, responded to a report a major injury traffic collision on Graham Street and Eucalyptus Avenue. Deputies and Fire/Rescue personnel arrived within minutes and started rescue efforts on driver/sole occupant. The driver was transported by paramedics to a local hospital with major injuries.
California woman randomly attacked at gas pump describes living in fear after brutal, caught-on-camera assault
The California woman who was severely beaten while pumping gas in an unprovoked, random attack last week said she continues to live in fear even after the suspect’s arrest, according to a local report.
Felon in Possession of a Loaded Firearm / Possession of Methamphetamine
On Wednesday, June 09, 2021, deputies assigned to patrol operations conducted an occupied vehicle check in front of the 32700 block of Lakeview Terrace, Wildomar. Deputies contacted Marcus Edwards, 47 years old, of Lake Elsinore, who was sitting in the driver seat of his vehicle. Deputies located an open alcoholic beverage in the cup holder immediately behind Edwards. Deputies requested Edwards exit his vehicle. As he was exiting his vehicle, he threw an unknown black bag onto the property which landed on the roof of an E-Z Up. Edwards was subsequently detained and placed into the back seat of a patrol vehicle.
Marijuana Cultivation Search Warrants
On Wednesday, June 9, 2021, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the Cannabis Regulation Task Force, the Murrieta Police Department and local law enforcement Task Forces comprised of multiple law enforcement agencies served narcotic related search warrants at twenty three separate residences and one commercial building located in the following cities of San Jacinto, Hemet, Perris, Moreno Valley and Murrieta:
Search Warrant / Assault With a Deadly Weapon Arrest
On June 9, 2021, at 5:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team (SCVCSDT) and the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (CVVCGTF) and the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team (SET), served a search warrant at a residence in the 68-900 block of Harrison Street and two residence’s in the 76-000 block of Pierce Street. All three location are in the unincorporated area of Oasis. The search warrants stemmed from an assault with a deadly weapon incident SCVCSDT is investigating which occurred on March 26, 2020 in Oasis.
