On Tuesday, February 16, 2021 investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant at an illegal marijuana cultivation operating at a private residence in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Sage. The search warrant was authored in response to citizen complaints about the residence.
On Monday, February 1, 2021, patrol deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service regarding a past lewd act on a child, that occurred at a residence in the 33000 Block of Jamieson Street, Lake Elsinore. Patrol deputies immediately forwarded this information to the Investigations Bureau for further follow-up.
The remains have been positively identified as Guillermo Jacobo, 21 years of age out of Thermal. On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, about 2:39 P.M., San Jacinto Sheriff Station initiated a pursuit of a stolen vehicle. The driver, later identified as Juan Alonso Perez Jr. (28-year-old San Jacinto resident), fled from law enforcement and drove in a reckless manner, including running stop signs and driving into on-coming traffic.
On Friday, February 5, 2021, around 10:27am, deputies responded to Elsinore High School located in the 21000 block of Canyon Dr., Wildomar, in reference to a burglary investigation. School officials had found a subject entered a classroom in the early morning hours on February 4, 2021. Several items were taken from the classroom and items were also damaged.
