On Sunday February 11, 2024, at 12:42 a.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the area of Reche Vista Drive and Country Road in the city of Moreno Valley.
On February 9, 2024, at 2:54 p.m., deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Perris Station responded to the intersection of A Street and Redding Way, Perris, regarding a report of a major injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.
In April 2023, investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Special Victims Unit, responded to a high school in the 7400 block of Scholar Way in Eastvale to investigate allegations that a teacher was having inappropriate contact with students.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Captain J. Rayls announced today that the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded a $40,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and will be administered by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) to battle alcohol-related harm.

Several 9-1-1 calls were received regarding reports of three juveniles, believed to be 11-13 years old, swept into a nearby water drainage canal.
