I like to introduce you to our next president: Mike Pence. I know he hasn’t declared his bid for the presidency yet, but he will. He is a shrewd and calculating politician and he is just waiting to see which way the wind is blowing before he throws his hat into the race.

Cloverlane Foundation has long supported Veterans organizations in the San Jacinto valley as well as other non-profit organizations. Their latest venture is the acquisition of 2,500 pairs of shoes from Pierce Footwear which was created in a category called “Adaptative Performance.”

In the race for state Controller, the Republican lost to a newcomer by more than 10 percentage points even after gaining nearly every major newspaper endorsement and raising almost twice as much money.

My brother was recently hospitalized for something or other. He and I live only a mile away from each other, but we never really see each other unless there is some sort of emergency. Well, his being hospitalized would definitely constitute an emergency and thus it required that I go see him.

This school year, California’s new “School Meals for All” program began. As a student leader serving my school, the city of Irvine, and the California Association of Student Councils, I applaud California for being the first state to provide every K–12 student in our public schools with free breakfast and lunch.
