Commercial Robbery Suspect Arrested

On November 16, 2022, Southwest Station deputies responded to a business in the 32000 block of Temecula Parkway in the City of Temecula, reference a strong-arm robbery that had just occurred. A loss prevention officer at the business attempted to stop the suspect from leaving the business with stolen merchandise and was assaulted by the suspect. The suspect was able to get away and fled the location in a vehicle.

The Southwest Station’s Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) assumed the investigation and began following all leads. Members of RBST positively identified the suspect, Bradford Burns, a 32-year old resident of Anza.

On December 14, 2022, RBST located Burns near the 56000 block of Highway 371 in Anza. While attempting to make contact with Burns, he fled from deputies on foot and was ultimately apprehended without incident. Burns was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for robbery and an outstanding felony warrant reference a violation of his Post Release Community Supervision.
