Felon in Possession of Ammunition

On January 6th, 2022, members of the Corona/Jurupa Valley Regional Gang Task Force, with the assistance of the Safe Streets Task Force conducted a probation check in the 3000 block of Hiawatha Place, Riverside. During the probation search, Andrew Ayala, a convicted felon and documented criminal street gang member, was found to be in possession of various calibers of ammunition and magazines. Ayala was ultimately arrested for being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition.

The Riverside County Gang Task Force is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The Corona/Jurupa Valley Regional Gang Task Force is one of 6 teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force.
