Gang Member Arrested with Loaded Firearm

On Friday, September 2, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducted a probation compliance search at a residence located in the 13000 block of Nahum Drive in Desert Hot Springs. During the compliance search Gang Task Force Officers located a loaded .357 revolver with an obliterated serial number. Gang Task Force Officers arrested convicted felon and documented criminal street gang member, Sean Hatley, a 45-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, and Possession of a Firearm with Obliterated Serial Number. Hatley was subsequently booked at John Benoit Detention Center in Indio.
