Details:

On Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 4:48 AM, deputies from the Thermal Station responded to a residence in the 84000 block of Fiesta Road in Coachella in reference to a shooting call at the location. Deputies arrived and located a deceased male adult with gunshot wounds. Deputies secured the area and began an investigation.

Investigators from the Thermal Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. Deputies detained 37-year-old Cindy Parra, a Coachella resident, as the suspect in the shooting.

The decedent’s identity is not being released at this time, pending family notification. Cindy Para was arrested and booked into custody for murder.
