Update:

During the course of this investigation, one of the suspects was identified as Jose Daniel Aguilar, 29 years of Orange. Aguilar was arrested on March 5, 2023, after a traffic stop in the city of Moreno Valley. Aguilar was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center. The investigation is currently on-going and no further information will be released at this time.

Details:

On February 26, 2023, at about 6:22 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station were dispatched to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 38000 block of Via Majorca, La Cresta. Upon arrival, deputies found an adult male with gunshot wounds. Deputies attempted life saving measures until paramedics arrived. The male victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Deputies secured the area as a crime scene and investigators from the Lake Elsinore Station responded. The Central Homicide Unit also responded and assumed the investigation.

The victim was identified as Andrew Cisneros, 35 years of La Cresta. There were at least two suspects involved, who fled the location in an unknown vehicle. The investigation is currently on-going and no further information will be released at this time.
