Details:

On October 20, 2022, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Jurupa Valley Station, responded to the 6000 block of Rosewood Way in the city of Eastvale to investigate a juvenile medical aid. The victim’s mother and father were taken to Jurupa Valley Station for questioning. After further investigation, the victim’s mother, Xiu Xiu Sun, a 31-year-old resident of Eastvale, was arrested for murder for her involvement in the child’s death. The child’s father was released without any pending charges. The child’s identity will be released by the Coroner’s Bureau.
