Narcotic Sales Arrest

On December 5, 2020, at 12:45 A.M., deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT) conducted a traffic stop at Avenue 52 across of Dos Palmas in the city of Coachella. Contacted was Manuel Jacquez, 30 of Coachella, who was found to be on parole. A parole compliance check of his vehicle was conducted.

During the compliance check, ammunition and approximately one pound of methamphetamine was located. Jacquez was charge for being a felon in possession of ammunition, possession of methamphetamine for sale, transportation of methamphetamine, and violation of parole. Jacquez was booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio.
