One Person Arrested in Sexual Assault Investigation

Details:

In January of 2022, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau began an investigation into allegations of a sexual assault. During the course of the investigation the suspect was identified as Jubran Thabit, a 43-year-old resident of Temecula.

On June 1, 2022, Investigators from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, arrested Thabit who was eventually transported to Robert Prestley Detention Center and booked on the charges of rape and sexual penetration with a foreign object.
