“Blueberry” – Pitbull female Mix

Long term resident!

Blueberry is the sweetest and cutest thing ever, being very well behaved while here. No barking, no fussing. Just being quiet & patient…and hoping for the best. She came to us as a stray, so we estimate her age to be 3 years old & weight at 57.9 pounds. She’s been in the market for a new home since 11/24/19.

Blueberry is up to date on shots, de-wormed and will be spayed prior to her adoption.

“Kirby” – White/brown DSH male Mix

Meet curious and playful Kirby. This 3 year old grey & white tabby is ready to be your best friend. Kirby loves a good cuddle, and being playful and curious as a kitten. He can be found searching out a new toy or waiting for a nice belly rub. Kirby is a big, sweet softy who will purr his way right into your heart. If you’re looking for a new addition, look no further than this sweet boy who will happily fit into a family of all ages.

Kirby is litter-box trained, up to date on shots, de-wormed and he will be neutered prior to his adoption.

State lawmakers approved legislation late Wednesday that would bar mandatory evictions or exclusion for California tenants and their families based on criminal histories or brushes with law enforcement. Assembly Bill 1418 combats local policies known as “crime-free housing” that can require landlords to evict tenants for arrests or prohibit landlords from renting to those with prior convictions.

California governor signs law raising taxes on guns and ammunition to pay for school safety

California will ban people from carrying firearms in most public places while doubling the taxes on guns and ammunition sold in the state under two new laws Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Tuesday that will test the limits of the U.S. Supreme Court’s new standard for interpreting the Second Amendment.
