Robbery Suspects Arrested

On June 30, 2020 at 9:09 AM, Moreno Valley Station deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Alessandro Blvd., city of Moreno Valley, regarding a robbery.  The victim, an employee at the recycling center, reported the suspect, a Black male adult wearing dark clothing, approached him, brandished a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money.  After the commission of the robbery, the suspect entered the passenger seat of a white 4 door vehicle and fled the location.  Members of the Moreno Valley Station Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) assumed the investigation and immediately began working the case.  Through assistance from the public, as well as local merchants and the Moreno Valley Citywide Camera System, a suspect vehicle was identified.  RBST members continued working the case and located the suspect vehicle in the area of Heacock St. and Fir Ave.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle, a 17-year-old suspect, was taken into custody without incident.  

Lemon Bookart

This juvenile suspect was determined to be the driver of the suspect vehicle during the commission of the robbery.  The case was continuously worked, and the second suspect was identified as, Lemon Bookart (19) from Moreno Valley.  Bookart was located and arrested on July 10, 2020 without incident.  Bookart was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Moreno Valley Station Deputy Ryan Morgan at 951-486-6700.
