Convicted Felons Arrested with a Loaded Firearm and Narcotics

During the patrol, Gang Task Force Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop near Date Palm Drive and Tortuga Road in Cathedral City.

On Thursday, September 15, 2022 about 2:00 AM, deputies from the La Quinta Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Desert Stream Drive and Bridgette Way in the city of La Quinta regarding an armed carjacking of a Toyota Camry.

Monday, September 12, 2022, at 10:17 am, deputies from the Thermal Station responded to the 86100 block of Avenue 66 in Thermal regarding reports of an intoxicated teacher on a local school campus.
Kidnapping/Assault with the Intent of Committing a Sexual Act Arrest
On September 6, 2022, at 3:10 PM, Thermal Station patrol deputies responded to the 55000 block of Calhoun Street in Thermal to investigate a kidnapping attempt. The investigation revealed the victim, a 15-year-old female, was walking home from school when an adult male approached her, grabbed her from behind, and attempted to pull her into his vehicle.
