On October 12, 2020, about 6:30 p.m., investigators and deputies assigned to the Southwest Station served a search warrant at a residence on the 39000 block of Sundance Cir., Temecula in relation to a lewd acts with minors investigation. Several evidence items were seized at the location.
On Friday, October 9, 2020, at 12:22 PM, deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station investigated a reported domestic violence incident that occurred in the 18000 block of Maple Drive in the unincorporated area of Blythe known as Mesa Verde. The victim had extensive injuries consistent with an assault.
On Sunday, October 11, 2020, at 2:57 A.M., members of the Moreno Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team conducted an occupied vehicle check in the 24000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, in the city of Moreno Valley. Deputies contacted, Michael Winns, a 29-year-old resident of Moreno Valley and documented criminal street gang member. Winns gave deputies consent to search his vehicle. A subsequent search of Winns’ vehicle revealed a loaded semi-automatic handgun underneath the driver’s seat.
On Saturday, October 10, 2020, at 2:32 A.M., members of the Moreno Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop in the 24000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, in the city of Moreno Valley. Deputies contacted, Anthony Corniel, a 29-year-old resident of Moreno Valley and documented criminal street gang member. Upon contacting Corniel, deputies saw a loaded semi-automatic handgun in plain view on the passenger’s seat of the vehicle. A subsequent search of Corniel’s vehicle revealed numerous fake identification cards and altered disability checks.
