On Tuesday, July 7th, 2020, about 4:00 AM, deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Station responded to a residence in the 3700 block of Packard Street, in the City of Jurupa Valley regarding an assault in progress.
On July 7, 2020, about 12:30 AM, deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Perris Station were alerted to a man with a gun in the area of N. Perris Blvd and Orange Ave in the city of Perris. The victim told deputies she had been kidnapped by a man with a gun.
On Monday, July 6, 2020, at 4:20 pm, a member of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department K-9 team, contacted Daniel Avila, a 29-year-old resident of Indio, at the 70000 block of Dillion Road in the unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs. Avila was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun.
During the month of June 2020, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station County Problem Oriented Policing Team assisted patrol on an assault with a deadly weapon call for service.
At the end of June 2020, a vehicle was stolen from within the city of Lake Elsinore. The vehicle was quickly recovered but was missing several high-end tools. Deputies conducted an investigation which led them to a property on Old Elsinore Road, Perris.
