On Thursday, January 20th, 2022, at 4:30 P.M., members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mount Rainer Street and Mount Shasta Street in the city of Perris. Deputies contacted documented criminal street gang member Daniel Ambriz, a 29-year-old resident of Perris. Deputies discovered Ambriz was a convicted felon and on probation for possession of a stolen vehicle.
On Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 12:44 AM, Region 3 Gang Task Force Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the 4600 Block of W. Florida Avenue, in the City of Hemet, on a Nissan sedan for vehicle code violations. As Task Force Officers began to approach the vehicle, it suddenly sped away at a high rate of speed which subsequently turned into a vehicle pursuit.
On December 17, 2021 at approximately 2:40 p.m., members of the Region 4 Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Harvest Way East and Mill Pond Drive in the city of Wildomar. The driver was identified as David Rivas, a 43-year old resident of Wildomar.
On Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 7:30 PM, deputies responded to the 40700 block of Winchester Road, the Apple Store, regarding an armed robbery that occurred. The suspect entered the Apple Store carrying a bag, wearing gloves, and holding scissors. The suspect began removing phones from the display counter and placed them in the bag he was carrying.
