Gang Members Arrested for Illegally Possessed Firearms

On Saturday, April 9, 2022, approximately 4:30 PM, Region 2 Gang Task Force Officers conducted a probation compliance check at a residence located in the 700 block of Michigan Ave. in the city of Beaumont. During the compliance check Gang Task Force Officers located two loaded semi-automatic handguns, an illegal switchblade, and illegal narcotics.

Gang Members Arrested with Firearms and Body Armor

On Thursday, April 6, 2022, at 5:00 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a search warrant at a residence located in the 66000 block of 6 Street in Desert Hot Springs. During the service of the search warrant Gang Task Force Officers located a 12-gauge shotgun, .300 caliber rifle, multiple rounds of ammunition, 5 sets of body armor and two collapsible batons.

Gang Member Arrested for Illegally Possessed Firearms

On Thursday, January 20th, 2022, the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a search warrant at a residence in the 73000 block of Pacheta Square in Thousand Palms. During the service of the search warrant Gang Task Force Officers located multiple firearms and ammunition including a Rifle belonging to convicted felon and documented criminal street gang member, Brandon Myers, 33 of Desert Hot Springs.

Felon in Possession of Firearms and Narcotics

On Tuesday, November 2, 2021, personnel from the Cabazon Station conducted a traffic stop in the 50000 Block of Main Street for a California Vehicle Code Violation. A probation search of the vehicle yielded multiple firearms and narcotics. Jeremy Abshear, 46, of Desert Hot Springs was taken into custody without further incident.

Gang Member Arrested for Possession of Multiple Firearms

On Thursday, October 28, 2021, at approximately 2:00 P.M., members of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force conducted a parole compliance check at a residence located in the 26000 block of Saint Julian Circle in Murrieta. The parole compliance check was in reference to Andrew Davis 32, a documented criminal street gang member and convicted felon.
