Video footage shows some brazen thieves in action at a popular retail store in Riverside County. A witness says the shoplifters calmly walked inside and took anything they wanted. One even used a wire cutter to carefully cut off security leashes on some expensive purses.

A 52-year-old man died early Monday, Sept. 20, when the pickup he was driving drifted into oncoming traffic near Hemet and collided with a semi truck, the California Highway Patrol said.

A Victorville woman was arrested for a hit and run collision that killed a Hemet woman and seriously injured a Hemet man.
