Homicide – August 10, 2020
On Monday, August 10, 2020, Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit completed an investigation of a 2019 murder that occurred in Jurupa Valley. In January of 2019, the victim, Walter Macklin, a 19 year old male, was shot and killed on the 6000 block of Smith Ave. Investigators identified Adrian Alvarez, 21 years old and Eric Guzman, 22 years old, as the suspects responsible for Macklin’s murder.
Fatal Traffic Collision – July 28, 2020
On Tuesday, July 28, 2020, about 2:25 AM, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to a report of a single vehicle traffic collision, on Mission Boulevard north of Highway 60, Jurupa Valley.

On September 23, 2019, at 4:39 pm, Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to the city of Coachella, received a call of a robbery that occurred at a business in the 49000 block of Cesar Chavez Street, in Coachella.
CRIMEWATCH – August 30, 2019
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department, serving the City of Perris, arrested Jerry Barba Jr., 19, a resident of Riverside, on suspicion of DUI while conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol on August 23rd, 2019.
