A convicted child rapist pleaded no contest Monday to sexually assaulting and killing two young boys in the 1980s in Southern California.
Kenneth Rasmuson, 59, entered pleas to two counts of murder with the special circumstance that he committed multiple killings. He is expected to be sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole on April 27.

On January 7th 2021, investigators from the Central Homicide Unit arrested a 16 year old juvenile for his involvement in the murder of Blake Paine. The juvenile was booked into Southwest Juvenile Hall without incident. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges on all three suspects. A Perris man accused of intentionally running over and killing a 43-year-old Riverside resident outside his home is slated to be arraigned later this week on a murder charge.
Four men and a teenager who allegedly conspired in a fatal attack on a 25-year-old Riverside man were behind bars Wednesday. Christopher Roberto Delacruz, 23, Ethan Harold Guerrero, 20, Kevin Daniel Guerrero, 28, and Cesar Manuel Martinez, 20 — all of Riverside — are suspected in the April slaying of Frankie Viera.
