On January 7th 2021, investigators from the Central Homicide Unit arrested a 16 year old juvenile for his involvement in the murder of Blake Paine. The juvenile was booked into Southwest Juvenile Hall without incident. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges on all three suspects. Investigators do not believe there are any other outstanding suspects. Anyone with information related to Blake Paine’s murder is encouraged to call Investigator Trudeau at 951-955-2777.

On November 9th, 2020, at 1:00 pm, Joshua Emanuel Navarro, an 18 year old male from Lake Elsinore, was arrested for his involvement in the murder of Blake Paine. Investigators are continuing to work all leads and believe there may be additional suspects outstanding. Anyone with information related to the murder of Blake Paine is encouraged to contact Investigator Trudeau with the Central Homicide Unit at 951-955-2777.

Details:

On November 8th, 2020, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station responded to the 100 block of Riley Street to investigate a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male who appeared to have been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The victim was identified as Blake Paine, a 19-year old male from Wildomar.

Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit and the Lake Elsinore Station were notified and have assumed the investigation. The suspect(s) fled the area prior to deputies arrival and are still outstanding.
