On May 13th, 2021, members of the Corona/Jurupa Valley Regional Gang Task Force, with the assistance of Corona Police Department Special Response and Tactics, Corona UAS, Corona FLEX and Corona Vice and Narcotics teams served a search warrant in the 13000 block of Indiana Ave, Home Gardens.
On Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, at 2:00 P.M., deputies assigned to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team responded to a hotel in the 24000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, in the city of Moreno Valley, reference trespassers in a room at the hotel. Upon reaching the room, deputies contacted McArthur Bartlett, a 27-year-old transient of Moreno Valley, and documented criminal street gang member.
On March 23, 2021, at 7:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team (SCVCSDT), served a search warrant at a multiple residence’s in the cities of Indio and Palm Desert. The search warrant stemmed from an assault with a firearm investigation. Andrew Flores, 24 of Indio, was arrested for assault with a firearm and shooting at an occupied vehicle. Flores was booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio.
On Saturday, February 27, 2021, about 2:53 P.M., deputies responded to the 6000 block of Mulan Street in the city of Eastvale in reference to a burglary in progress. Residents in the area called to report the suspect breaking into a residence through a rear window. While deputies were responding to the location the suspect, later identified as 19-year-old Henry Brice, resident of Rancho Cucamonga, was seen by residents fleeing the house in a vehicle. Witnesses were able to direct responding deputies to the vehicle as it fled, a traffic stop was conducted, and Brice was taken into custody without incident. A search of Brice’s vehicle revealed a loaded pistol in the passenger compartment. Brice was arrested for residential burglary and possession of an unregistered firearm and subsequently booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
On Friday 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM, Gang Task Force Officers were patrolling the area of 3600 West Devonshire Avenue, in the City of Hemet, County of Riverside. Task Force Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a Chevy Sport Utility Vehicle for an equipment violation and contacted the driver; Kristyna Slaydon. Slaydon was found to have several felony arrest warrants and was driving with a suspended Driver’s License. Slaydon was detained without incident. During a search of the vehicle, a fully loaded, 9mm handgun was located inside of Slaydon’s purse. Slaydon was arrested on multiple weapons charges and later transported to the local jail.
