The CNPA Board of Directors on Aug. 5 approved a policy change that invites freelance journalists and writers to become Associate Members for $100 a year. The change is intended to give freelance news reporters and CNPA editors and publishers a place to “meet” to pursue mutual interests.

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced Tuesday that Riverside County will move back to the state’s purple tier, which is the most restrictive tier that requires several types of businesses and places of worship to move outside. These places will need to change operations to outside only within 72 hours.
