A study at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and The City University of New York found that the rates of cannabis use and daily cannabis use have increased across the U.S., and that current cannabis use and daily use are substantially higher among individuals residing in states that have legalized recreational cannabis use, relative to those where cannabis use remains illegal.

Critical Incident Training

Authorized members of the media are invited to film portions of the training this Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Palm Desert Charter Middle School, located at 74200 Rutledge Way in Palm Desert.  While the training is going on for several hours, the media will have access from 8:45am-10:00am.

Convicted Felon Arrested for Firearm Possession after Crashing Stolen Vehicle

On Monday, July 18, 2022, at 10:37 P.M., San Jacinto Deputies located a stolen vehicle entering a mobile home park in the 1600 block of San Jacinto Avenue, San Jacinto. The vehicle was stolen out of the city of Riverside during a residential burglary where multiple items of high-dollar jewelry and firearms were stolen.
