On Saturday, August 15, 2020, about 9:52 A.M. deputies responded to a residence in the 6400 block of Peridot Court, in the city of Eastvale, in reference to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon arrival, deputies located a female adult who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies learned the shooting was related to a domestic disturbance and the suspect is known to the victim. The suspect fled from the residence prior to the deputies arrival. The female victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
The Jurupa Valley Stations Investigations Bureau responded and assumed the investigation. This is an on-going investigation and no other information will be released at this time.
