Update:
On April 12, 2023, about 06:00 p.m., the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST), Special Enforcement Team Gang Unit and Problem Oriented Policing Team, served a search warrant at a residence in the 24000 block of Lamont Drive, Moreno Valley. During the search warrant service, property belonging to the victim and a stolen firearm were recovered. Deputies also recovered a stolen vehicle which was being driven by the suspects during the robbery. Ezekiel Lopez, a 19-year-old resident of Moreno Valley was arrested without incident and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center.

On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, about 4:00 P.M., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Moreno Valley Station responded to an armed robbery near the 24000 block of Brodiaea Avenue, in the City of Moreno Valley. Upon arrival, deputies learned three suspects, one armed with a knife, approached the victim and demanded his property before fleeing in a vehicle.
About 4:21 P.M., deputies located the suspect vehicle near the 14000 block of Perham Drive. The investigation is on-going, and no additional information is available at this time.
