Residential real estate provides one of the most basic human needs -- shelter. When the world shifted to 'everything from home' due to the pandemic, that place of shelter took on many more identities. The home is now the focal point in many of our lives, representing where people work, shop, school and exercise.

Several months ago, the Soboba Casino Resort marketing department, led by Chief Marketing Officer Martin Moore, started to formulate a plan for a new and exciting event they could host at the resort in the spring. The result was a Food Truck Fiesta held on May 15 and 16.

On May 25, 2021, about 11:47 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Moreno Valley Station, responded to the report of a major injury traffic collision near the intersection of Iris Avenue and Camino Flores, in the city of Moreno Valley. As deputies arrived on-scene, a gold, 2005 Toyota Camry, was found fully engulfed in flames, with an unresponsive occupant inside the passenger compartment. Personnel from CalFire responded to the location and extinguished the fire; after which, the driver, and sole occupant of the Toyota, was determined to be deceased.

Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Special Investigation’s Bureau, located Lisa Vargas, who was wanted in connection with this homicide investigation. Lisa Vargas has been eluding law enforcement’s efforts in locating and arresting her.
