On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 5:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force with the assistance of Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), served a search warrant at a residence located in the 52000 block of Avenida Carranza in the city of La Quinta. During the service of the search warrant Gang Task Force Officers located and collected several hundred Hydrocodone pills (M-30s) and Xanax pills as well as evidence of narcotics sales to include cash.

The CDC issued a report last week on the demographics of those who received at least one shot during the first month of the vaccination campaign. Some groups were vaccinated at rates that matched their share of priority populations such as health care workers and nursing homes. But there was a glaring outlier in that Black adults made up only 5.4% of those vaccinated, about one-third of their numbers in those first-tier groups. On Sunday, February 7, 2021 about 2:02 PM, deputies from Riverside County Sheriff’s Department - Perris Station responded to a major injury traffic collision near the intersection of 4th Street and Park Avenue in the city of Perris. Deputies arrived within minutes and located a collision involving a white Hyundai Accent and a silver BMW 328i.
