This week Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) received recognition and recertification by the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA) for its industry-leading safety achievements. On Saturday, August 29, 2020, Zulema Rubi Amezcua-Delval, 14 years, and Julissa Garcia, 15 years, ran away from their home from the city San Jacinto, California.
On Sunday, August 30, 2020, about 9:00 PM, deputies from the Cabazon Station were dispatched to a report of gunshots in the 35000 block of Mesa Grande, Calimesa. When deputies arrived, they learned Michael Mariscal (21-years-old from Banning) discharged a firearm inside one of the residences.
