Homicide – Update
On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 2:35 PM, deputies from the Cois Byrd Detention Center were notified of an unresponsive inmate. Deputies and medical staff immediately assessed the inmate and initiated medical aid while waiting for paramedics.

On August 6, 2022, at about 9:55 a.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff Station responded to a report of a shooting near a residence in the 28800 block of Mapes Rd. Deputies arrived within minutes and received information the suspect still at the location.

Moreno Valley, California. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Moreno Valley Station, arrested twenty drivers suspected of driving under the influence (DUI) during a nearly three-week period through Labor Day weekend.

On September 4, 2022, about 3:05 AM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Colorado River Station responded to a shooting at the 10800 block of Seeley Avenue, in the unincorporated area of Blythe.

On September 2, 2022, at 11:51 p.m., deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a loud party on the 53000 block of Calle Sanborn, in Coachella. Upon arriving, deputies heard several gunshots and saw several people flee from the location of the party.
