A gunman who livestreamed himself driving around Memphis shooting at people, killing four and wounding three others in seemingly random attacks, was arrested after crashing a stolen car, police said Thursday.
On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, about 6:53 P.M., deputies assigned to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department-Robert Presley Detention Center responded to the cell of an unresponsive male inmate.
On September 6, 2022 and September 7, 2022, Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit served several search warrants in connection with this homicide investigation.
On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 2:35 PM, deputies from the Cois Byrd Detention Center were notified of an unresponsive inmate. Deputies and medical staff immediately assessed the inmate and initiated medical aid while waiting for paramedics.
On August 6, 2022, at about 9:55 a.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff Station responded to a report of a shooting near a residence in the 28800 block of Mapes Rd. Deputies arrived within minutes and received information the suspect still at the location.
