Convicted Felon Arrested for Manufacturing Firearms
In October 2023, members of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force received an anonymous tip of a convicted felon manufacturing firearms. Task Force members assumed the investigation and were able to identify a prior convicted felon, Eric Ahrens, a 36-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, as the individual manufacturing firearms.

On Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 8:52 a.m., Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to an annoy and molest incident occurring in the 25000 Block of John F. Kennedy Drive in the city of Moreno Valley.

On November 1, 2023, at about 12:47 p.m., deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff Station were dispatched to a report of a deceased male at a property in the 15700 block of Country View Road, Whitewater.

On Thursday, November 2, 2023, about 5:47 p.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Philadelphia Avenue, west of Etiwanda Avenue, Jurupa Valley, regarding a single-vehicle, major-injury traffic collision.
Deputy-Involved Shooting
On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 3:22 p.m., deputies responded to a business in the 1400 block of South San Jacinto Avenue in San Jacinto for a report of an armed subject.
