Soboba Foundation Supports Local Students with Scholarships

As the Soboba Foundation fully supports education and the pursuit of higher education for all students within the San Jacinto Valley, the nonprofit honored eight local high school graduates with a $2,500 scholarship to give them a jumpstart on their higher education goals. Most of the checks and proclamations for each student were awarded during the individual school’s senior awards ceremonies, held prior to commencement.

Justice Assistance Grant Information

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, on behalf of the County of Riverside, is applying for Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds available through the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance. The JAG program allows states, tribes, and local governments to support a broad range of activities to prevent and control crime based upon the jurisdiction’s identified needs and conditions.
